S'pore man presents deck of slides in response to "considerably famous" woman

A++ for effort.

By now, you might have heard of Kelly Lim, a "considerably famous" 26-year-old Singaporean woman who made a deck of slides in a bid to land herself a date.

According to Lim, her endeavour has met with great success on various dating apps as well as Facebook, saying she has received hundreds of messages since putting up her deck.

One of these purportedly interested males would not be content with joining the hordes of others sending her messages, however.

This man, one Goh Yong Wei, took the plunge to equal Lim's effort in the form of his very own matching set of PowerPoint slides, launching a veritable social media campaign with a matching hashtag #FindYourWei.

Here goes:

Goh's slides follow the same format as Lim's, but he adds his own qualifications, which include the modern-day achievement of producing a Facebook album that garnered more than 5,000 shares —

... which is pretty impressive, really. I mean, what more could you want from a man?

Goh also uses light-hearted self-deprecating humour on his own looks, which indicates a certain amount of self-awareness without the self-loathing (we think):

Grammar mistake aside, yes of course — girls like boys who drill well.

He even succeeds in up-selling his perhaps not-Andy-Lau-level appearance — Goh notes, quite reasonably, that his and Lim's combined genes are likely to produce children who are "just nice":

Note: The "Hover Hand" in a photo is acknowledged online to be a signal that its owner is awkward and doesn't know what to do with himself in the presence of an attractive female.

We're not sure how Mount Kinabalu qualifies as "notable skills and qualities" but his email address ([email protected]) makes up for that in our books.

Here's his Facebook post presenting his deck:

It's only been a couple of hours, but we're sure Lim will catch wind of it soon enough.
