Lee Hsien Loong, prime minister of Singapore, a First World country, has revealed his secret ambition.
He has always wanted to be a sailor.
In a Facebook post on Oct. 16, 2017, PM Lee wrote about his dream, which he cannot fulfil, because he needs to govern a country.
So, the next best thing is to live vicariously through a time-lapse video shot by a seaman on a mega-container ship.
The 10-minute video covers 30 days at sea, from the Red Sea, across the Indian Ocean to the Port of Colombo, then through the Malacca Strait into Singapore, and then the South China Sea and finally arriving in Hong Kong.
But, of course, this video showcases one of Singapore's state-of-the-art ports in all its glory as the container ship docks for more than 24 hours -- glorious skyline in full view.

PM Lee wrote in non-sailor-like prose:
Our port and strategic location are a big part of Singapore’s success. But with ports in the region competing for business, and new trade routes opening up, we cannot rest on our laurels. The Tuas mega port will strengthen our international maritime hub. We must do all we can to keep the path ahead smooth sailing!
Singpore's port is featured at the 5min 08sec mark.
But for those of you who cannot be bothered to scroll to that specific mark, here it is below -- the never-before-seen footage shot from a container ship:
