If only we could turn back time.

Singaporean fans of 90s Scandinavian Eurodance-pop, the worst has befallen us.

Aqua, the Danish pop group best known for 90s hits like Barbie Girl and Turn Back Time, has cancelled their Singapore concert, dashing the hopes of formerly happy boys and girls.

Give me time to reason, give me time to think it through.

The news was broken by the concert organiser Mode Entertainment in a Facebook post on Oct. 20, which you can see below.

The official Aqua Twitter account and Facebook page had no additional information, with their last updates made in 2014.

Incidentally, their last Tweet was an announcement that Aqua had to cancel their show in Adelaide, Australia.

Mode Entertainment promised that SISTIC would follow up on refunds for fans who had already purchased tickets. But this comes as cold comfort to those who wanted to see the Cartoon Heroes in action.

Mothership has contacted Mode Entertainment for more information on the show's cancellation.

Now that Aqua is gone, and they have to go back home. But please come and see us again, we've never felt more alone.
