Ed Sheeran S'pore show in jeopardy: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo & Hong Kong cancelled

Ginger Ed Sheeran has confirmed that he is "unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future" after a recent bicycle accident left him injured in both arms.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Oct 18, the British singer-songwriter said doctors have confirmed fractures in his right wrist and left elbow.

A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future. Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong. I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that. Please stay tuned for more details. PS - Ed isn’t typing this as he has both arms casted/bandaged.

He said he will not be able to go ahead as planned with shows from Oct. 22 to Nov. 5 in Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

The Sunday show at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition hall in Taiwan was set to kick off Sheeran's Asian tour. He is scheduled to perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Nov. 11 and 12.

"I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that," his post said.

The post also added he is not the one typing as both his arms have been bandaged.
