By now, most of us would know that this year's NDP song is called Because It's Singapore.
We've also written on how this song, while a nice ballad, fails to connect with Singaporeans on a larger scale.

So, now that you've heard the song and know how it doesn't really connect to Singaporeans on a larger scale, imagine it used for a workout.
And yes, that's what has happened.
We can only assume that the logical progression to get people to feel a deeper connection to the song is to do an entire workout based on it.

Interestingly, most Singaporeans were super happy to see the workout video.
But there are also a few people not taking it too well to it.
Realistically speaking, a workout done on a national scale isn't going to be the latest K-pop choreography or contain fashionable dance moves, given the limits of how accessible a mass workout can become - at least, in the context of a practical time frame.
One thing's for sure, don't expect many self-conscious youths to be caught dead doing this.
