Miss Singapore Beauty Pageant is a national beauty pageant that is held annually.

The contest, not to be confused with Miss Singapore Universe, will see four winners, namely Miss Singapore Tourism Queen, Miss Singapore Chinatown, Miss Singapore Global Beauty Queen, and Miss Grand Singapore. The winners will go on to represent Singapore internationally.

A talent and fashion show held on July 8 at OneKM Mall saw one of the contestants demonstrating a first aid procedure on stage as part of a community service segment.

The unnamed finalist, one of 16 girls, is according to the caption of a photo uploaded by the pageant's Facebook page, herself certified in first aid.

Never mind that it was made clear that this was NOT part of any talent showcase or competition segment. Do vitriolic commenters care about facts or context?

Clearly, the answer is no.

And here, we introduce, the vitriolic (and also stupid) men of Facebook — sampling A.

1) Edward Ting and Amir Rahman, who are convinced of their own, completely irrelevant, talent:

2) Poor Seng Kang and Ian Rush, for whom boobs seem to matter in the scenario of a first aid demonstration. Also, possessing knowledge of first aid or CPR means a person is a nurse. Obviously.

3) Eli Lo, who is apparently saving vomit specially for her:

Seems like Singapore has many undiscovered Einsteins that are too humble to showcase their talents.
