Chicken in a Biskit back in S'pore, available at all Giant outlets for S$3.50 each

If it's sold out, some Carouseller somewhere might have it.

You heard right — your favourite childhood snack, Chicken in a Biskit, is back in Singapore.

The snack was once widely available in Singapore but was discontinued in 2015 by the supplier, which proved to be a major loss to Singaporeans, who searched high and low for the snack.

One fan even wrote to The Straits Times asking where to find it.

Due to its popularity with Singaporeans, supermarket chain Giant has since sourced for the product and shipped it in, directly from the U.S., and it's been on sale since last week, reports The New Paper.

And sure enough, it's the first item listed among their "New Products":

But you don't have to go sprinting to your nearest Giant right away — the supermarket chain is working closely with its supplier to ensure that there are enough boxes for each store.

Each box retails at $3.50, and is sold exclusively at Giant at the moment.

We can't help but wonder now, however — would the crackers still have the salty, MSG-laden taste we remember from our primary school days?

We probably have to prepare a few bottles of water, just in case.
