The video, released on Monday on Chelsea's official website, had three defensive players, Nathan Aké, Gary Cahill and David Luiz, involved in a cook-off.

Under the tutelage of head chef K.S. Toh from North London-based restaurant Singapore Garden, the players assembled their char kway teow with the dexterity of multimillionaire footballers: The make-shift kitchen did not catch fire and no one died.

Ex-Chelsea goalkeeper and current assistant coach Carlo Cudicini judged the dishes together with Toh.

The winner, picked by Toh, was the Brazilian psycho diver, David Luiz.

Chelsea will be in Singapore from July 25 to 29 for the pre-season inaugural International Champions Cup (ICC) Singapore friendly tournament, alongside Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.

Tickets for the ICC Singapore are available at Sports Hub Tix. They are priced from S$40 to S$188.
