Another car driving against traffic, this time along Gateway Drive towards Westgate

Is it that confusing to drive in the right direction?

Just as we assumed drivers in Singapore are now well aware of the perils of driving in the wrong direction, another car has been caught on video doing just that:

This incident occurred on Jan. 2, 2017, along Gateway Drive towards Westgate.

According to the speedometer in the video, the car going in the right direction was travelling at about 40kmh. It also showed that the vehicle slowed slightly in reaction to the approaching vehicle from the opposite direction.

The car travelling in the wrong direction could have collided head on as it was approaching from round the bend.

This is the third such video to have emerged showing a car going against the regular flow of traffic.

A silver Mercedes drove against the flow of traffic on Dec. 19, along the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) towards Tuas, resulting in one fatality and a horrific multiple-vehicle carnage.

A Dec. 29 video showed a black Mercedes on the wrong side of the road waiting at the traffic light at the junction of Bedok North Street 1 and Bedok North Avenue 3.
