Most of you trainers would have seen the absolutely cray-cray scenes evident on the ground at Blk 401 Hougang Ave 10 playground on Aug. 9, 2016.

Now, it has been reported on Channel 8 news -- after they visited the place on National Day -- that Tentacruel and Dratini have been caught by one Pokemon trainer, besides Gyarados.

Moreover, another trainer said he felt that it was worthwhile playing there due to the near endless supply of Pokemon to be caught.

For the benefit of those who cannot Chinese, this is a summary of the contents of the video:

One guy interviewed said: "I was passing by this area and it looked like National Day celebration, so I stopped and realised people were here because of the Pokestop. And we have been stuck here since."

Another trainer managed to catch Tentacruel and Dratini while there.

It was explained that the sheer amount of Pokemon appearing at that area is the main draw. This is so as playing for two hours there is the equivalent to the progress made when playing for the whole day elsewhere.

The coffee shop beside the open area is lively and crowded but there are also some minor inconveniences caused.

For example, one lady resident said the car park is now full and residents don't have a place to park their vehicles.

And another male resident said once in a while the crowd will shout if they have caught something but it's not a big deal. Young people enjoy it, so let them have it.

So, how popular is the playground in Aljunied GRC, which has been a hot spot since Aug. 7?
