While one self-reliant Singaporean has resorted to creating her own Pokémon Go on Snapchat because the game has not reached Singapore's shores and desperation has kicked in, others are determined to ask for help.
One person on Twitter has turned to the representative of the people, the Workers' Party, asking if they can assist in expediting the popular game's release here.
@wpsg Who cares about education or minimum wage. What plans do you have to bring PokemonGO into Singapore ASAP?

We support the aspirations of Singaporeans who want to be the very best and travel far and wide to 'catch 'em all'. https://t.co/oTWeMv4c6y

Even Workers' Party selfie pales in comparison to Pokémon in terms of retweets and likes:
See you at the polls on 11/09, let us make history!
