Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is a trailblazer on social media again.

Not content with ruling the Singapore Facebook world with 1.183 million fans, PM Lee is using Instagram story for the first time to engage millennials about the National Day Rally.

In fact, PM Lee is offering young Singaporeans the chance to be involved -- a free pass to the very exclusive NDR.

This year's NDR will be held on Aug 20 at the Institute of Technical Education in Ang Mo Kio, the same venue as the past two NDRs.

To win one, simply send a photo of a smart device or program that has improved your life to the prime minister's office, with a list of reasons why.

The PMO would also like to know how Singapore can be a smart nation.

Put all this together into a public Instagram post with the hashtag #invitemetondr, or email a link to the post and a screenshot to [email protected].

Please include your full name and NRIC though -- security check is still required. ##SGSecure
