A Twitter user posted what could very well be the start of a fleet of green bikes populating Singapore streets.

GrabBike has been implemented in Indonesia.
Here's how they do it, according to this New Paper article.
Commuters just have to tap on the street hailing option, which generates a code.
The GrabBike driver then enters the code into his app, and the ride is booked.
No word on when this might roll out in Singapore though.
[UPDATE: A report in Tech In Asia quoted a Grab spokesperson as saying that there are no plans to launch GrabBike in Singapore, reflecting users' general lack of preference or habit in taking motorcycle rides.]
