The longer title of this article is "Lee Bee Wah shares Lee Bee Wah's post about an article highlighting 5 positive points of Lee Bee Wah's constituency, of which one of the 5 points is Lee Bee Wah".

On Friday, Channel NewsAsia published an article titled "5 things to redeem Yishun's sullied rep".

This article listed 5 things that made Yishun redeemable, one of which was their MP Lee Bee Wah, or as the article calls her, MP Never Say No.

MP Never Say No then proceeded to share it on her official Facebook page.

Before sharing it on her personal Facebook page.

Dope.

Not the first time

This isn't the first time mainstream media has devoted resources to defending Yishun's honour.

The Straits Times published an article on Feb. 16, questioning "Why do some people make fun of Yishun?".

They concluded that this was the reason why people made fun of Yishun.

"It is a made-up phenomenon, driven by media coverage and confirmation bias."

Putting aside that this statement fundamentally misunderstands the concept of social media, and the Internet as a whole, here is one of the people they chose to convey the normalcy of Yishun.

The epitome of normalcy.

We can't wait for the next full length article dealing with what is basically a meme.
