Much has been said about the ikan bilis and chips “Fish & Chips” at LeVel33 a restaurant/ lounge/ brewery located at the top of Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC).

So, there's quite a big difference between expectation and reality for this “Fish & Chips” dish priced at $13++, which has resulted in some critical, sarcastic, and hilarious reactions.

The latest person to give his take on the dish is none other than highly Michelin-starred and foul-mouthed celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay.

To be fair, someone did respond to Ramsay's criticism by saying this:

In response to the ongoing reaction to their "Fish & Chips" dish, LeVel33 said:

We are very sorry to hear that the Fish & Chips dish (SGD13++) from our Beer Dining Menu, a great finger food snack that pairs well with the freshly brewed craft beers, did not meet a recent diner's expectation. Our entire menu is an interpretation of our Chef’s creativity and our diners’ feedback. The menu is a constant evolution to keep it relevant and interesting. We thank our diners for their remarks and their support in delivering a great dining experience at LeVeL33.

Much brouhaha over "Ikan bilis Fish & Chips".
