2016 just keeps getting worse.

Just barely a week after a cat was poisoned in Marsiling.

Another cat was killed in the area.

According to Twitter user, Fluffypuffy, her cat was allegedly tossed from her HDB block in Marsiling, near Woodlands Waterfront.

And, perhaps most heartbreakingly, the picture of the mother cat staying by the side of the dead cat.

As horrendous as this is, a similar incident occured on May 26.

Where a man threw a female shorthair cat down 6 stories from a Tampines HDB block.

The punishment for ill-treating an animal can be a fine up to S$15,000, jail for up to 18 months, or both.
