Cat killer in Marsiling allegedly poisoned a cat, cat later dies in pool of blood outside owner's front door

The worst kind of people.

A cat owner in Marsiling woke up at 5 am to perhaps the most bone chilling sight you could think of.

He found his cat outside the porch in its own pool of blood.

According to the post, the cat was placed, or made its way back to the house somewhere between 3 to 5 am.

The owner claims the incident happened at Block 217 Marsiling.

He has filed a report with the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA), and claims that the cat might have been poisoned due to the foam coming out of its mouth when he found it.

Most of the Facebook comments has been those of shock, outrage and condolences for the cat's death.

But some people chose to shine the light on not just the killer, but the family as well.

In case you can't read what was said.

Funny how it's always the cat killer who gets all the scolding but nobody really reprimands the owner for allowing the cat to roam.

How many times must a cat pay with its life before owners will wake up and realized that its 2016, coming 2017, and smell the shit that we no longer live in the kampong era where people co-exist with furries?

Is this "keeping your cats indoor" concept so hard to understand? You know, a lot of awareness has been brought up over the years YET there is this persistent group of people who think otherwise and blame everyone else but themselves.

Well done and keep being myopic and not seeing the real killer behind this.

Please don't talk about sympathy for owner cause I sympathize with the cat more for having gone through the experience of being thrown down/poisoned/ whatever, without any medical help to ease its pain.

Similar comments took issue with the owner letting the cat out at such a late hour.

A point the owner himself acknowledged.

But as some pointed out, pushing the blame on primarily the owner misses one very important point.

Cat killers are insane, and should be dealt with.

With these 2 lines perhaps the more important.

One does not need to be of a kampong spirited background to have an ounce of sympathy and tolerance for an innocent animal.

Even if there was a concern of the cat not being contained indoors, killing it is of no justification.
