Steve McClaren (pictured above) is an English professional football manager and former player.

He is most recently remembered for being the head coach of Newcastle United.

He is also the former manager of England from August 2006 to November 2007.

However, he was sacked when England failed to qualify for the 2008 European Championship.

These days, here is McClaren, as a television pundit, waxing lyrical about England during Monday's match against Iceland.

He was applauding his English side for mounting on the pressure against the Icelandic team, despite conceding an equaliser just two minutes after going one goal up in the fourth minute.

This is the exact moment McClaren was going on and on about England, when Iceland -- which is unbeaten at the tournament -- took the lead in the 18th minute when Kolbeinn Sigthorsson’s shot beat England keeper Joe Hart.

Priceless. You can see him mouth the eff word.
