A Malaysian woman has truly outdone herself for Hari Raya 2023.

She not only gifted each of her three domestic helpers a hefty duit raya (green packet for Hari Raya) and a group staycation in a private suite on an island, but she also chartered a helicopter for them.

RM10,000 green packet

The 29-year-old woman, Farah Wen, filmed her helpers receiving the lavish gifts and uploaded a 31-second video in English followed by a 35-second video largely in Malay on TikTok (@farahwen).

Both videos have gone viral and garnered a total of 3.8 million views as of the time of writing.

The video started off with Farah, who claims to be an entrepreneur on TikTok, handing each of her three helpers a fat green packet.

The helpers opened the green packet, each revealing a stack of RM100 (S$30) notes worth a total of RM10,000 (S$3,000), according to Farah.

The green packets were just the "morning surprise" and there were more in store for the helpers.

Island getaway via private helicopter

Next up was a helicopter ride to an island, where Farah apparently booked a three-day-and-two-night "getaway" for her helpers before Hari Raya.

One of the helpers could be seen in the helicopter with Farah's daughter on her lap.

It appeared as though Farah and her two children also went for the getaway, but Farah stated in the TikTok video that the helpers had a private suite on the island all to themselves.

The suite came with a huge bathroom fitted with a bathtub, a private dipping pool, a lounge bed and a lounging area.

The helpers and Farah's children wave to the camera before the video ends.

Gifting followers green packets

In her subsequent TikTok video, Farah had a "last surprise", adding a clip of herself in a vehicle with several green packets in her hands.

She stated that the surprise would be for her followers, where she would be gifting them RM10,000 (S$3,000), and thanked them for their support.

It is unclear how the followers can qualify for the green packets, how many green packets she will be giving away, and the amount of money in each green packet.

Outdone herself

Farah has "surprised" her domestic helpers more than once, according to her 2022 TikTok video.

She could be seen in the video gifting her three helpers an RM5,000 (S$1,510) green packet each.

She also booked a "luxury suite" and a VIP room for them to break their fast and enjoy their buffet feast in private.

"Bestie do you need another maid"

Farah's gestures toward her domestic helpers have largely drawn the envy of people online, with many jokingly asking if she was looking to hire another domestic helper.

Others questioned why the helpers remained in their uniforms in the TikTok video, when they were supposed to be on a holiday.

A few individuals praised Farah for doing what she did for her domestic helpers.

A TikTok user, Abdul, volunteered to be Farah's security guard, adding that he has good aim from playing Call of Duty and Apex Legends.

Call of Duty and Apex Legends are video games that involve shooting guns.
