Jacky Cheung will be holding six concerts in Singapore over two consecutive weekends at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from Jul. 14 to 16, followed by Jul. 21 to 23.

Tickets for all six dates went on sale on Apr. 26 at 10am.

The tickets for Cheung's concerts were priced from S$168 to S$388, excluding a S$4 booking fee.

Each person was also limited to four tickets per transaction.

Tickets sold out within hours

Unusual Entertainment Pte Ltd, which is organising the shows, shared in a Facebook post on Apr. 26 that all tickets for Cheung's concerts had been sold out.

According to some users in the comment section, some fans had waited online for two to three hours even before ticket sales were opened, only to fail in securing a ticket.

Some users complained about the emergence of ticket scalpers, who had already taken to online marketplace Carousell to resell Cheung's concert tickets for exorbitant prices.

Many users also implored Unusual Entertainment to add more shows for Singapore, with some pointing out that other venues, such as Macau, will apparently hold as many as 10 shows.

Scalpers resell tickets for S$450 to S$2,000 per ticket on Carousell

At the time of writing, several listings by scalpers were seen on the Carousell platform, reselling Cheung's tickets from S$450 to as much as S$2,000 per ticket.

Some scalpers were even already successful in selling their tickets.

According to one listing's description, two tickets for seats in Cat 1 were sold at S$1,000 each.

Several concert-going hopefuls were also seen on Carousell looking for tickets from sellers for various seat categories.

One user implored scalpers to be more ethical, and fix the ticket prices on the platform at the original price, rather than resell them for higher-than-usual amounts.
