Singapore Airlines (SIA)'s limited edition batik mahjong set is now selling at a significantly lower price on KrisShop.

First launched in 2020

In December 2020, the airlines launched a limited edition batik mahjong set for S$338, which quickly sold out.

A green version of the batik mahjong set returned the following year and was sold for an even higher price of S$388.

Now selling at cheaper price

And it seems that the green mahjong set has undergone deflation as it is now selling for S$194.

Customers can also buy it using 24,250 miles.

This is a bigger price cut than in 2022, when the same mahjong set had its price reduced to S$271.60.

Scalpers on Carousell

Ironically, listings on Carousell are now more expensive than on KrisShop.

The most recent listing was on Mar. 4, at S$350.

One listing from showed the mahjong set being sold at its original price of S$388.

Haha.
