The annual sakura display at Gardens by the Bay is back from now till Apr. 9, 2023.
What to expect
Some of the features this year include toy trains, torii gates, and a Mount Fuji display.
Meet Pikachu and friends
Those who make a trip down might also see a special edition Pikachu adorned with sakura flowers.
This is its first appearance outside of Japan.
It will make an appearance at the Flower Dome on:
- Mar. 18 - 1pm to 1:30pm
- Mar. 19 - 10am to 10:30am and 1pm to 1:30pm
Flower dome admission charges apply.
This Pikachu did not come alone, as its friends will be putting on dance performances.
The Pikachu Dance performances will be at 11am and 2pm on Mar. 18, at the Flower Dome entrance.

- Mar. 19 - 11am to 7pm, with mochi pounding at 12pm and 2:45pm
Japanese musical and folk dance performances:
- Mar. 19 - 11am to 11:30am and 12:30pm to 1pm
Japanese drum performances:
- Mar. 19 - 2pm to 2:45pm and 3:45pm to 4:30pm
Movie screening of "Belle":
- Mar. 19 - 4:30pm to 6:30pm

Have fun with Ikebana! (Japanese floral arrangement):

- Apr. 1 and 2 - 2pm to 3pm and 4pm to 5pm
Registration for the event costs S$80.
