Good news for air-con weather lovers, bad news for anyone planning to spend some time out in the sun this weekend.

The National Environment Agency (NEA) has forecast that another monsoon surge is expected to affect Singapore between this Friday (Mar. 3) and Saturday (Mar. 4).

"Periods of showers, heavy at times, are forecast during this period," NEA wrote in the weather forecast on Facebook on Mar. 2.

In some places, the daily minimum temperature could drop to between 21oC and 22oC.

According to the Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) website, wet weather is forecast on Sunday (Mar. 5) too.

In fact, rainfall is forecast to be above average over most of Singapore for the first half of March.

Head indoors, stay dry
