Geylang Laksa Prawn Noodles has opened its second outlet in Ang Mo Kio.
Nearly 60 years of legacy
Founded in 1964 by hawker Lee Sie Kian, the 59-year-old stall is known for its laksa and prawn mee.
Its first outlet which is located at Sims Drive, is now run by Lee's older grandchild, Lim Yeesheng.
Its new outlet is helmed by younger brother Lim Yuyuan, who is also driving expansion plans for the brand.
The two have quit their jobs in the IT and hospitality industries respectively to grow the family business.

Having just launched their second outlet in Ang Moh Kio last December, the third generation successors already have plans to open a third outlet later this year.
Menu
Diners can choose from an assortment of affordable noodle options on its menu.
Crowd favourites include their signature Prawn Laksa (from S$4.80) which consists of dried shrimps, noodles and an ensemble of other spices.
Seafood lovers can also opt for their Clams Prawn Noodles (from S$5.30) and Traditional Prawn Noodles (from S$4.30)
Other hearty savouries include their Pork Ribs Prawn Noodles (from S$5.30) and Intestine Prawn Noodles (from S$5.30)
