It's no secret that Chew Chor Meng is an enterprising man.

The 54-year-old actor, who co-owns multiple F&B businesses such as mookata chain 888 Mookata, recently opened a View Dee Bistro.

View Dee Bistro is a Thai eatery located at Henderson Road.

Used to be a school canteen

When we visited View Dee on a Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 10),  the eatery was spruced with plenty of neon lights and lanterns.

The eatery is located within Sprout Hub, which used to be a canteen for primary school students.

Menu

View Dee Bistro offers an extensive menu of over 100 traditional and fusion Thai dishes.

Besides the usuals like pad thai (S$12.80) and green curry chicken (S$16.80), the bistro also offers pizzas, pasta, and desserts alike.

Some highlights on their menu include their Thai-style hotpots from S$48.80, which serve a plethora of seafood such as mussels, clams, tofu, and lobster, with a choice of tom yum or fish broth.

Customers can also get their lunch special sets which range from S$10.80 to S$18.80.
