Cyclist, 43, dies after alleged hit-&-run involving Mercedes along Adam Road

An appeal for witnesses has been put up online in the wake of a hit-and-run accident involving a car and bicycle along Adam Road that left one person dead.

The deceased was the cyclist.

An Instagram user with the handle @jenn.in.sg, took to the platform to appeal for witnesses to the accident.

She said the incident took place at about 6:28am on Nov. 30.

The accident allegedly involved a white Mercedes that had collided with the cyclist.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force told Mothership that they conveyed one person to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Cyclist passed

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) confirmed the accident.

On Nov. 30 at 6:29am, SPF was alerted to a hit-and-run accident involving a car and a bicycle along Adam Road towards Lornie Road Exit going towards the PIE (Tuas).

A 43-year-old male cyclist was conveyed unconscious to the hospital, where he subsequently passed away, SCDF said.

Two men, aged 38 and 40, are currently assisting with police investigations.

"I was not there and don't know the rider but as a fellow cyclist this breaks my heart and I want to help. It could have been anyone of us. Let's look out for each other," she wrote.
