Pin Si Cantonese restaurant in Yishun closing down on Apr. 1, 2022 after 14 years

The restaurant promised a comeback saying: "This is not goodbye, but see you again soon."

Pin Si Restaurant, a popular wedding venue and Cantonese restaurant that also serves dim sum, will be closing its doors.

Restaurant closing after 14 years

The restaurant, located at SAFRA Yishun, announced in a Facebook post on Mar. 7. that it will be closing its doors on Apr. 1 after 14 years.

However, its headquarter will remain open and continue producing frozen packaged food and hot food, which can be ordered online or through delivery respectively.

The restaurant, however, promised a comeback saying: "This is not goodbye, but see you again soon."

It added: "We undoubtedly have future plans to be back with with a brand new dining concept and affordable dining experience for all."

Special promotion before closure

In response to a netizen's query, the restaurant said it has a special promotion before its upcoming closure.

The promotion is for its seafood set for five pax.

According to the restaurant's website, there are two seafood sets: Special seafood set A and Special seafood set B.

The former is priced at S$168+, while the latter is priced at S$268+.

Past patrons dismayed by news of closure

Patrons of the restaurant, some of whom held their weddings within the venue, expressed their dismay at the restaurant's impending closure.
