Famed Malaysian bakery Lavender Bakery is expanding its presence in Singapore.

A second outlet will be opening at the basement of ION Orchard in early- to mid-October, a spokesperson confirmed with Mothership.

The spokesperson added that signature products such as the hanjuku cheese cake, caramel milk stick, and bamboo charcoal toast will be sold at this outlet.

Before its foray into Singapore at Jewel Changi Airport, the bakery was known among Singaporeans for its affordable yet premium breads.

Other offerings include cakes and pastries, and even macarons.

However, no official announcement of the second outlet has been posted to the brand's pages.

The news follows a slew of F&B openings at ION Orchard's basements, including U.S. burger chain Five Guys, Tempura Tendon Tenya, Beach Road Scissors-Cut Curry Rice, King of Fried Rice, and dim sum chain Nam Heong.
