K-pop idols Heechul and Momo have broken up.

Heechul is part of Korean boyband Super Junior, while Momo is part of girl group Twice.

The two went public with their relationship at the start of 2020 after being rumoured to be a couple since August 2019.

Their labels have confirmed their break up.

According to Allkpop, the labels confirmed both idols have "parted ways".

A representative of JYP Entertainment said: "After confirming [with Momo], it's true that they have parted ways."

A representative of Label SJ told Allkpop: "After confirming [with Heechul], it's true that they have parted ways. However, please understand that we cannot reveal more specific details regarding the issue, as it is a matter of the artist's privacy. Thank you."

However, Allkpop reported that an industry insider revealed the two grew apart due to work schedules and are still friends.
