Everyone wants a piece of the durian pie this season.
Frozen seafood and meat distribution Frozen & Co. is no exception.
To enhance the durian feasting experience, Frozen & Co. is holding a pop-up weekend durian market at Labrador Park, that starts on July 9.
Featuring a dine-in area, the event will run over two weekends, from Friday to Sunday — July 9 to 11 and July 16 to 18.
S$12 per 200g box
Mao Shan Wang (MSW) durians are going for S$12 per 200g box, limited to two boxes per person.
If those durians alone are not enough for you, you may purchase more Premium MSW durians at S$29.90 per 400g.

They also have other varieties such as Old Tree Pahang MSW (S$35.90/400g), Blackgold MSW (S$37.90/400g), Jin Feng (S$29.90/400g), and Red Prawn D13 (S$22.90/400g).
Due to the high costs of delivery, they will only accept dine-in and takeaway orders, a spokesperson for Frozen & Co. said in response to a Facebook comment.
The spokesperson told Mothership that the 200g per box MSW will be sold in pre-packed boxes while the rest of the durians for sale will be opened on the spot. Customers are allowed to choose the durians, they added.

Alfresco dine-in area
The Durian Market boasts an alfresco dining area with tables and chairs, decorated with fairy lights.
The ambience would appeal to durian lovers who enjoys alfresco dining or those looking for a romantic spot to go with their significant other.

The seating capacity for this weekend (July 9 to 11) will be approximately 50 in adherence to the two-pax cap on dining-in group sizes.
The seating capacity for the next weekend (July 16 to 18) will be approximately 120, when dining-in groups of five are permitted from July 12 onwards.
Frozen & Co. shared that the seating area for the Durian Market is separated from The Three Peacocks and will be reserved for Durian Market customers.
