If you are looking for a safe and hassle-free way to dispose PMDs, including e-scooters, here's what you need to know.
KGS, an e-waste collection company, is collecting unwanted PMDs until June 2021.
KGS collects any PMDs, including the non-UL2272 models.
According to SCDF, non-UL2272 PMDs and any form of modifications to PMDs pose a fire risk.
This collection programme is supported by the National Environment Agency and has been running since December 2020. It will end on June 2021.
KGS will be visiting different estates on specific dates and timeslots (6pm-8pm) for residents to drop-off your vehicle at the respective venues conveniently.
Here are some upcoming locations that KGS will be visiting:
June 4: Blk 333 Kreta Ayer Road (S)080333, Open Carpark
June 9: Blk 96 Havelock Road (S)160096, Multi-Storey Carpark, Ground Floor
June 10: Blk 64 Lengkok Bahru (S)150064, Multi-Storey Carpark, Ground Floor
June 11: Blk 76 Telok Blangah Drive (S)100076, Open Carpark, Near Community Centre
Do remember to de-register your vehicle before disposal.
This is not the same as LTA Early Disposal Incentive Scheme which ended on Dec. 31, 2020.
