It was announced on May 4 that social gatherings are to be limited to five persons from May 8 to May 30, 2021.

In response, everyone scrambled to downsize their groups of eight to five, especially during the Hari Raya Puasa season.

Unfortunately, as the sixth member of the family, one poor cat found itself left behind as its family went for Raya visiting.

The picture shows the back view of a cat sitting in front of the gate in a dimly-lit flat, looking forlornly at the brightly-lit corridor outside.

Despite looking absolutely adorable, all decked out in its colourful baju Melayu and songkok, the poor kitty was still booted out from the family's Raya visiting known as "jalan Raya" in order to adhere to the new five-persons limit.

While house pets are not counted as part of the five-persons limit and should not stop the cat from joining in the festivities, it still makes for an adorable and amusing picture -- of the ones who have to be left out.
