Hong Kong actor Kenneth Ma, who was single for a spell after ex-girlfriend Jacqueline Wong was caught in a cheating scandal, has found love again.

Went public with their relationship at the same time

Ma, 46 years old, posted an update to his new Instagram account at Saturday midnight, June 13, according to Sina Entertainment which cited local Hong Kong media.

He captioned a picture of a horse and a unicorn plush toy together "Thanks for your concern", and tagged 33-year-old actress Roxanne Tong.

Tong posted the same picture with the exact same caption, and tagged Ma as well.

The unicorn and horse plush toys were meant to represent Tong and Ma.

Tong added an Instagram Story too, which Ma reposted.

It says, "Unicorn and horsey would like to say to everyone that we've received all your warmest well wishes, and will continue on our path together with a heart full of gratitude."

Tong replaced Wong in "Forensic Heroes IV", after TVB had to reshoot all scenes where Wong appeared in so that the show could be aired in mainland China.

Ma and Tong had reportedly spent about four hours in the latter's residence, before the couple went outside together on Friday night, June 12.

That was when they were snapped by cameras.

The IG posts were uploaded after they returned to Tong's place.

Not hiding their relationship

Speaking to the media after the revealing social media posts, Ma said both he and Tong agreed that they would go public with their relationship if they were spotted together by the paparazzi, TOPick reported.

They would rather not make it a big deal by announcing it to the public, as it would be like "stirring up news", he said.

He also said while both of them were often together in the company, nobody asked them about their relationship, and so they did not bring the matter up.

When asked if he and Tong are planning to get married, he said that while that is not in his immediate plans, he wants to treat his relationship seriously, and be forthright to everyone about it.

Mum really likes Tong

Ma also revealed that they have both met each other's parents, and that his mum really liked Tong.

When asked what drew him to his girlfriend the most, he said: "She has a simple personality, laughs easily, and is very down to earth, which is similar to me."

Ma and Tong worked together before a few years ago when they co-starred in the 2017 TVB series "Mind Hunter".
