While people in Singapore are encouraged to stay at home this circuit breaker period, some otters are having the time of their lives.

In the middle of March, a family of seven otters were seen visiting Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Recently, however, the same otter family were seen at KK Women's & Children's Hospital in Bukit Timah.

On May 8, a video of the otters was circulating on Facebook:

A security guard can be seen ushering the otters and preventing them from crossing the road:

Though the otters appear quite apt at navigating the urban jungle.

According to community group Ottercity, this seems to be the same family of otters dubbed as the "Zouk family" that had been to Mustafa Centre, a condominium in Newton and a petrol station at Bukit Timah.

Not the first time

This is not the first time that a group of otters were spotted at the same hospital.

According to Ottercity, the father of the Otter is believed to have come from the Marina family that often frequents Kampong Java Park, which used to be located behind the hospital.

It may have wanted to visit the familiar Kampong Java Park with its new family.

However, the park was closed permanently in 2018 and that's how they may have ended up at the hospital instead.

If you're wondering how these otters are travelling, Ottercity shared that they use one major canal, the Rochor River, to go to different places before returning back to Singapore Botanic Gardens.
