Formerly a food delivery rider

He was one of the many food delivery riders who were affected by the ban.

He approached his MP and told him that he wanted to find a more stable job and had hoped for Faishal to help him find a job as a bus captain.

Faishal wrote:

"I reached out to SMRT to explore if they were willing to give Steven a chance to be trained as a Bus Captain. I am very happy that the SMRT agreed."

According to Faishal, he and fellow Nee Soon GRC MP K Shanmugam, continue to engage delivery riders, encouraging them to ride safely and assisting them in difficult times such as during this Covid-19 pandemic.

Banned since Nov. 5, 2019

PMDs have been banned on public footpaths in Singapore since Nov. 5, 2019.
