Coca-Cola announced on Dec. 5 that it will be launching the world’s first lighted Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker No Sugar bottles in Singapore.

Limited edition bottles

The bottles come in two unique designs— blue or red lightsabers.

8,000 of these limited edition bottles are hidden in 45 secret locations across Singapore.

Those interested can purchase them by taking part in a "Galactic Hunt" during weekends between Dec. 6 and 22.

Resold for more than 30 times the price

The bottles, however, quickly sold out after the first weekend, with some scalpers joining in the hunt.

As a result, a number of the bottles are listed on Carousell at much higher prices:

Some were even sold above S$50:

And one seller even sold it for as high as S$100, possibly more than 30 times of its original price:

S$100 for a Coca-Cola bottle? This is truly the dark side of the force.
