38-year-old Singaporean singer JJ Lin was hospitalised after his concert at the city of Zhen Jiang in China on Oct. 26, 2019.
According to Sina on Nov. 3, Lin revealed that he initially thought it was just flu.
However, he was later diagnosed with Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease, an infection that's more common among children, at Zhenjiang First People's Hospital.
He said this to the concert-goers at Chongqing city on Nov. 2, and added that he had over 70 ulcers in his mouth because of the viral infection.
He said at the start of the concert that he was feeling unwell recently, and that he was probably not in his top form.
Despite feeling under the weather, Lin still performed through the three-hour concert, putting on a stunning show for his fans.
He also encouraged his fans to keep the energy levels up, even if he did not speak.
Many fans showed their concern through their Instagram messages afterwards.
Taiwanese celebrity Show Lo also left a note on Lin's Instagram post to urge him to take care of his health.
