The Singapore Grand Prix took place at Marina Bay Street Circuit from Sep. 20 to 22, 2019.

Sebastian Vettel emerged tops over the weekend:

But something else quite exciting happened to a Lewis Hamilton fan on Sep. 20.

As the fan was using his phone to film at the event, Hamilton scoots by on a kick-scooter and knocks into him, causing the phone to fall to the ground.

Here is a video of the incident, which has also been shared to the F1 SubReddit.

Here's the moment, in case you missed it:

Later on, though, driver and fan apparently managed to meet again.

It is not clear how that happened, but Hamilton supposedly signed an apology on the back of the same device.

The message reads, "I'm so sorry. Was rushing to get in the car. Best wishes!"

Chris Stott, who is the alleged owner of the phone, called it a "great gesture" on Hamilton's part.

In addition to numerous racing achievements, Hamilton has won the Formula One World Drivers' Championship five times: 2008, 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018.

But it looks like he isn't as adept at kick-scooters.
