Paradigm Mall cinema in Johor Bahru has moving seats & special snow, rain & fog effects

A cinema in Paradigm Mall, Johor Bahru, has taken the movie-going experience to a whole new level.

Over 20 different kinds of effects

The cinema offers a "4DX" experience, boasting over 20 kinds of special effects.

4DX is a motion picture technology from South Korea, allowing for standard audio and visual presentation to be augmented with environmental effects.

On top of motion-enabled seats, special cinema effects include simulated weather conditions such as lightning, rain, fog and snow.

The 4DX experience is only available for selected movies.

It will also cost cinema patrons an extra RM18 (S$6) on top of normal ticket prices.

The Paradigm Mall 4DX cinema hall opened in 2018 and is the first 4DX cinema in Malaysia.

Apart from Johor Bahru, here are also two 4DX cinemas in Malaysia that can be found in Klang Valley.
