The long weekend may be coming to an end, but the massive jams leading to the Tuas and Woodlands Checkpoints still show no sign of subsiding.

Meanwhile, the human traffic situation hasn't been looking any better.

According to One Motoring, the traffic situation at the Woodlands checkpoint seems clear. These screenshots were taken on Monday (Aug. 12), at around 12:30pm:

On the other hand, traffic at the Tuas checkpoint has been jammed since Friday, and doesn't appear to be letting up.

There was a stream of updates from the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) throughout the weekend, but the updates appear to have stopped.
The last update was made at around 2:20pm, on Sunday, Aug. 11.
The images of Woodlands Checkpoint may give the impression that the homebound journey might be a relative breeze.However, some commuters have warned that since the jam is originating from Malaysia, the mild traffic at the Checkpoints themselves may not paint the full picture.

In any case, given that the long weekend is about to end, most folks coming back to Singapore will likely be heading home today. The situation is likely to get worse before it gets better.
