On Aug. 4, 2019, a fosterer known as KH Lee posted on the Facebook community page "Cats and kittens for adoption in Singapore" to warn about a cat adopter named "Rod".

According to Lee, Rod had allegedly caused the death of a healthy ginger cat just 48 hours after adopting it.

The adopter, said to be a male around 25 to 35 years old, had reportedly also sent Lee a picture of his genitalia.

Lee revealed that he has made a police report.

Here's the list of allegations he made against Rod:

1) Causing the death of ginger cat

Lee, claiming that he learnt of this incident from others, accused Rod of causing the death of a healthy ginger cat less than 48 hours after adopting it.

Rod had apparently sent a photo of the dead cat to a rescuer, with the cat appearing to look wet and having bloodied paws.

The cat was suspected to have drowned and its nails pulled out.

The following is supposedly a screenshot of the conversation between Rod and the rescuer.

The first message started on July 26, where Rod asked the rescuer for another cat despite adopting one the day before.

2) Extorting vet fees from rescuer

Before the cat died, Lee claimed that Rod had tried to extort up to S$1,000 from the rescuers, under the guise of vet fees.

Rod had called the rescuer saying that the cat was sick, but refused to send it to the vet.

He then tried to extort S$400 from the rescuer, and subsequently raised the sum to S$1,000.

The rescuer then begged Rod to return the cat.

A while later, Rod informed the rescuer that the cat had passed on, and asked for another cat.

Although it was not shown in the screenshots, Lee asserted that Rod refused to disclose the location of the cat's body.

The last message was likely sent after Lee uploaded his post on Facebook.

3) Sending a dick pic

Additionally, Rod then asked for a kitten from Lee, and allegedly also sent a dick pic to Lee.

Lee censored the photo before uploading it to Facebook.

It is not clear if the photo of human genitalia was deliberate or accidental.

4) Catnapping

Lastly, Lee accused Rod of attempting to catnap a community cat at Chinatown.

The incident was reportedly caught on CCTV, but it was not uploaded along with Lee's post.

Lee hopes that cat adoption groups will keep a lookout for Rod, as the latter is allegedly still trying to adopt another cat.

Lee added that Rod might also use a different name.

The Facebook post has since been shared 2,200 times.
