You might have seen our National Day Parade by now.
Check this out if you didn't.
Three heads of state from our neighbouring countries joined in the festivities for the parade.

Cool.
One of their most iconic buildings is the Burj Khalifa.
Burj Khalifa is the tallest building and structure in the world.
It stands at 829.8 meters. Which is insane.
For context, Singapore's tallest building is the Tanjong Pagar Centre, which stands at 290 meters.
So people did notice when the Burj Khalifa, which usually looks like this...

Awww.
Here is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Facebook post regarding the flag projection.
"Yesterday, the world-renowned Burj Khalifa and Dubai Festival City Mall projected the Singapore flag on their respective façades to celebrate our National Day. RTA Dubai also conveyed National Day greetings on the electronic road signboards in Dubai.
We thank our friends for their thoughtful gesture, which has made National Day celebrations special for Singaporeans based in the UAE. Singapore and the UAE enjoy excellent relations and we look forward to forging even closer ties in the years ahead. #OurSingapore #NDP2019
