On July 16, two men stole two items from an unsupervised 24-hour vending machine store at Block 927 along Yishun Central 1.

The owner of the shop appeals for members of the public to help nab the two thieves.

Stole two items from a claw machine prize locker

The owner uploaded the closed-circuit camera footages on Facebook later that day.

In the video, the two men were seen entering the store at about 5:08 am, according to the video's timestamp.

After prospecting the machines, they attempted to pry items out of one of the vending machines.

The man dressed in a white T-shirt can be seen guessing and entering different passwords to gain access to a locker.

However, he gave up after a few failed attempts and moved to another claw machine.

They returned to their e-scooters which were parked outside, leaving the vicinity at around 5:46 am.

The store has an alarm installed which will emit a warning sound only when someone activates it.

However, the incident happened in the early morning when the owner was still asleep so the alarm did not sound.

Allegedly Stole S$400 worth of items last year

The owner shared with Chinese daily Shin Min Daily News that this was actually the second "visit" for the man wearing a white shirt.

The man had stolen S$400 worth of electronic items at the same store in November 2018, with a female accomplice.

The owner shared that the man tried to conceal his identity by wearing a face mask back then.

Despite making a police report, the duo was at large.

The store owner mentioned that the brazen man had broken into his friend's shop.

His face was captured on a closed-circuit camera in the shop so the owner was able to recognise him this time.

According to the owner, the duo had stolen some electronic products from the shop again.
