Oh no.

Hey, have you ever gotten into a squat contest with a friend via video call that ended with both of you in the hospital a few days later for a case of Rhabdomyolysis?

A bit too specific, perhaps.

A 19-year-old surnamed Tang, from Chongqing, China did, though.

According to China Press, Tang had challenged a friend over video call to a squat contest.

Not wanting to lose, they spurred each other on — perhaps one of them might have heartily quipped "we are the squat squad" or something else friends might say.

But they both managed to hit 1,000 squats nonetheless.

After 1,000 squats over a few hours, they both called it a day.

Tang went on with her life, with only slight muscle pains and fond memories of this weird contest serving as reminders of that occasion.

She went to work the next day with minimal problems but saw herself unable to bend her leg on the third day.

Her urine was also tea-coloured.

Tang's boyfriend took her to the doctor at once.

The doctor diagnosed it as Rhabdomyolysis, which according to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital is a "condition that causes rapid death to skeletal muscle tissue".

Here are the causes.

Add doing 1,000 squats in a row to that list.

Accordig to China Press, Tang called her friend to check up on her, only to find that she had been hospitalised for the same reason.

Whelp.
