Even billionaires run into trouble sometimes.
Peter Lim, the wealthy Singaporean owner of Spanish football club Valencia CF, is rumoured to be at loggerheads with his club's general director, Mateu Alemany.
Mayhem at the Mestalla
According to Spanish daily Marca, a meeting was called on July 29 for Lim and Alemany to clear the air over their supposed differences:
"After some years of turbulence, the ship had been steadied in recent seasons but now there's a new cloud looming over the club."
The report also claimed that the club's manager Marcelino would attend the meeting.
David Cartlidge, the editor of ESPN UK, claimed in a tweet that Marcelino and Alemany worked well together.
However, Lim and Alemany have been allegedly "at each other's throats" as Lim wanted more power over player transfers.
In short for those unaware: Lim (owner) and Alemany (transfer guru) have been at each others throats for some time and it has culminated in one big fall out. Lim wants more power over transfers so Alemany is walking. Marcelino finds out what has been going on and also wants out.

Cartlidge also claimed that a transfer deal for Rafinha, a Brazilian midfielder who plays for Barcelona, was put together by Alemany and Marcelino.
However, Lim allegedly cancelled the deal.
Will the manager walk?
In another Spanish media report, Valencia-based journalist Hector Gomez claimed that Marcelino is prepared to quit the club if Alemany is sacked.
But Cartlidge claimed that the Valencia players have confronted Marcelino and implored him not to leave, even if Alemany is fired, as they believe in the "project" at Valencia and have rejected offers to move elsewhere.
Under Lim's ownership, Valencia have risen no higher than fourth place in the league, although they did win the Copa Del Rey tournament in 2019.
Lim also hired former Manchester United icon Gary Neville, whom Goal.com described as his "friend and business partner", to manage the club in 2015.
It did not end well, and Neville was sacked after just four months in charge.
The recent turmoil does not bode well for Valencia, as they seek to challenge the giants of Barcelona and Real Madrid for the Spanish league title.
