OK Chicken Rice, located in a nondescript warehouse in the Bukit Merah area, is yet another brand that has come up with a special offer in light of National Day 2019.
Free plates for seniors and 54 per cent discount for all Singaporeans
In celebrating Singapore's 54th birthday, the chicken rice stall is giving back to the community by treating seniors to their signature chicken rice at S$0.54 per plate.
By seniors, they mean any Singaporean above the age of 54.
All you have to do is to present your NRIC.
If that wasn't quite generous already, the chicken rice stall has even received various contributions, which allows them to sponsor the first 1,000 plates with an added egg.
Younger than 54? You get to enjoy 54 per cent off everything in the menu.
Do remember that each customer is eligible for one plate each for this promotion.

Of course, while they did say "while stocks last", the chicken rice shop is not actually worried about running out of chicken rice.
On the contrary, they're more worried that not enough people know about this promotion.
