You might have heard of the recent voluntary recall of some of Apple's older MacBook Pros.

The specific designs they are targeting are 15 inch MacBook Pros from 2015-2017.

The batteries in these models might overheat and pose a safety risk.

What's the worst that can happen if you don't exchange your battery? Probably what happened to this guy.

Blowing up

Steve Gagne recounted his horror story about his blown MacBook Pro battery.

The incident took place in Florida, U.S.

Basically, while he was asleep, the battery in his MacBook Pro kind of exploded.
