Lee Hsien Yang says PAP has 'lost its way'

Has the People's Action Party (PAP) changed?

Lee Hsien Yang, the youngest son of the late Lee Kuan Yew who was Singapore's first prime minister, certainly thinks so:

I wholeheartedly support the principles and values of the Progress Singapore Party.

Today’s PAP is no longer the PAP of my father. It has lost its way.

Lee Hsien Yang's Facebook post on Sunday evening, July 28, is in support of Singapore's new opposition party, Progress Singapore Party.

The post comes two days after former PAP MP Tan Cheng Bock and PSP leader met the press and said the PAP has changed.

Tan's hard-hitting comments were met with rebuttals from Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat and Trade and Industry Minister Chan Chun Sing on Saturday:
