In February 2019, Giant closed its VivoCity outlet for good.

Being the only supermarket since VivoCity's inception since 2006, Giant was one of the mall's anchor tenants.

The mall had no other supermarket the past five months until FairPrice Xtra finally opened its doors on July 16.

The supermarket takes on two floors of the mall, occupying a part of level B2 and level 2.

More than groceries

Apart from your usual groceries, this particular FairPrice Xtra also has sections for your travel needs:

Some pre-packaged traditional snacks:

A bicycle workshop:

There's also a high-tech-looking vegetable section.

And even a canteen area that serves pasta, sandwiches, finger food and more.
