Massive crowds turned up at Huawei stores islandwide across Singapore to get their hands on a heavily discounted Huawei Y6 Pro, only to be angered when they realised there were too little stocks available.
Many of the people waiting in line were elderly folks because the discount was only for aged 50 and above.
Now it seems the fiasco has taken a toll on one such elderly lady.
In a video posted by one Ng Joke Keong on Huawei's Facebook page, an elderly Chinese woman is seen lying on her back on the floor outside Huawei's Jurong Point Concept Store.
Appearing to be in a daze, the Chinese lady is supported by a Muslim woman who is fanning her.
The Muslim woman can be heard saying to the surrounding onlookers to "give her some air".
Unintelligible screams can be heard in the background.
As the camera pans up, you can see a massive crowd gathered outside the Huawei store.
Here's the video:

Elsewhere, crowds have also formed at other Huawei outlets.
This Twitter video taken outside the Huawei store at Causeway Point shows a very agitated crowd of middle-aged people surrounding visibly helpless Huawei staff.

Mothership understands that the police have been activated to various Huawei stores to regulate the crowd, although there has been no reports of physical violence yet.

Huawei has since urged customers to avoid going down to all their stores due to the overwhelming demand.
